JustRite Friday Challenge #129 - Say Something Nice

Just a reminder, through the end of this year, we will begin a new challenge on the FIRST FRIDAY of the month and close the challenge on the LAST WEDNESDAY of the month. The winner(s) will be announced the following day on Thursday.

For JFC #129, I am simply asking you to create a card for someone that says something nice using your JustRite stamps. This could be a Thank You, Congrats or really ANYTHING uplifting or encouraging. You have until the day before Thanksgiving to link your projects!

I hope everyone has been keeping busy during our little break in the challenges here at JustRite Inspiration! I have been super busy with a great vacation cruise to Alaska and moving into my new craft space. I have had a few snags along the way so I am not quite ready to get back to crafting just yet. I put up a fresh coat of paint and finally got my new cabinetry in (which I had to put together all by myself). Now I just need help getting things organized! Here is a peek at part of my new craft space:

JustRite Friday Challenge #126 - Don't Be So Negative!

It's time for another fun challenge here at JustRite Inspiration! I was really inspired by Darsie's Tutorial Tuesday video "Getting The Most From Your Dies". If you missed it, you can see the video here: http://youtu.be/m5MuUU4N7F4.

For this one, you simply need to use the "negative" space (the part that is left after you cut something out) somewhere in your project. This can be done with a die, punch or digital cut file so there is really no end to what you can achieve! I used Large Birthday Party Sentiments clear stamps for accents with the coordinating Large Birthday Party Sentiments SVG Digital Cut Download File to cut my balloons and candle from my paper. It's been a little while since we've had a sketch challenge here at JustRite Inspiration! I know these scare some of you but it's really pretty simple and you can put your own spin on it too! So, here's the sketch inspiration photo for you:

You don't have to use the exact shapes or colors in the photo, just the overall style. The little "tail" layers can be paper, ribbon or fabric and any style as well.

I chose some pretty papers for mine with just about every pattern in the pad - LOL! The number of them isn't really important either so just have fun and make something pretty! I used one of my favorite stamp sets, Grand Sentiments clear stamps, for the sentiments and cut all the flags with JustRite Vintage Label & Banner Die. For more details, visit my blog HERE.
