Day One with Guest Designer Melissa Bove

When Kellie asked me to Guest Design, again, I was super excited and thrilled!  It is such an honor for me to be here this week! I love JustRite Stamps and Dies! Hopefully I will inspire someone to create something with these amazing stamps and dies as I was inspired too!

Just love all of the new JustRite stamps that came out so far this year! I especially love the Chicken Soup Labels Four Set! Just love the vintage Soup Label and all of the sweet sentiments! Too cute! I just simply colored in some of the Soup Label with some Copic Markers.  I used Spellbinders Labels Four Dies as well as Labels Three Dies.  The cute Vintage Campbell’s Soup Ad is a Digi Paper that I found on Etsy. I just printed it out on some white cardstock and then “aged” it with some Pastel Chalks and inks in tans and browns to make it look vintage. And the little spoon can be found at Simon Says Stamp. Day Three with Guest Designer Robin Parker

Good morning.  Today is the final day with Guest Designer Robin Parker.  We would like to thank Robin for sharing some nice projects with us this week.

Thank you so much for having me as a Guest Designer for JustRite Papercraft.

For my final project, I created a wall hanging.  I bought a black wooden tray from Michaels.  I stamped the two different frames and the sentiment “Dreams” from “Winged Vintage Labels Two & Three” with Versamark ink onto white cardstock and embossed with red embossing powder using a heat gun.  I did this three times.  Next, I used “Vintage Labels Three Dies” to cut out the frames.  The sentiments “Hope” and “Faith” are from “Grateful Hearts Vintage Labels Two”.  I used pop dots to raise the frames and glued them to the center.  My border around the black tray was created by stamping “Celebration Labels One & Bracket One” with Versamark onto white cardstock and embossed with black embossing powder.  I did this five times and cut them out to fit the edges.  My final finishing touches are red and black Recollection rhinestones.

Day Two with Guest Designer Robin Parker

Good morning.  Welcome to Day 2 with Robin Parker.  Today Robin has a really cute candy box to share with us.

Here's Robin:

I am having so much fun being the Guest Designer and using the new June releases for JustRite Papercraft.

The project for today is a candy box.  First I folded my piece of cream cardstock in half.  Then I used the “Romantic Rectangle” by Spellbinders, to cut out my middle and top with the sides still connected to create the lid. I cut out another rectangle for the bottom of my box.  Next, I cut out 2 strips of cream cardstock 2 ½ X 9 inches.  Score both strips at 3 ½ on your Scor-Pal. I then glued the two strips together to create a rectangle. My next step is to glue the top and bottom to the sides. And your box is ready to decorate. To decorate this box I used “Floral Vintage Labels Two” to create the triangles.  I stamped the design with Versamark ink and used orange embossing powder and heat gun to create the ornate design.  I did this twenty times and cut each out.  I glued them to the top and bottom on the side of box.  Next, I stamped the flower from the same stamp set twice with black Marvy ink.  Colored both with Copic markers and cut out each petal on one image.  Then, I glued the cut out pieces onto the other colored image to raise my petals to look more real.  I stamped the symbol from “Graceful Monogram” with Versamark ink and embossed with the orange embossing powder.  I did this ten times and cut them out. I glued them to the center of my triangles and on the corners of the top lid. The frames on the top of the box are created with “Winged Vintage Labels Two & Three”, “Vintage Labels Two” and “Vintage Labels Three Dies”.  I stamped them with the Versamark ink and embossed them with orange embossing powder.  I glued my flower onto the center of the top frame.  I used pop dot adhesives to raise the frames.

On the inside of the lid, I used “Grateful Hearts Vintage Label Two” and “Vintage Labels Two Dies” to create the frame and sentiment.  I added Recollection decorative pearls to the outer edge on the inside opening.  My finishing touches are small, medium and large pearls.

Day One with Guest Designer Robin Parker

Good morning.  We are pleased to have Robin Parker as a guest designer once again this week.  

Here's Robin:

For my first project I stamped the “Damask Wallpaper Background” with Versamark onto white cardstock.  Then, I used black embossing powder and heat gun to create the beautiful design for my background paper.  Next, I used the “Vintage Labels Four Dies” to cut out my frame on black and white cardstock.  My red striped designer paper is “Basic Patterend Paper” by Bazzill Basic Paper.  The next frame is also “Vintage Labels Four” cut out of black cardstock and the same designer paper but in black.  My third and final frame is created with the oval on black and red cardstock from “Vintage Labels Four”.  The decorative frame, banner and sentiment are from “Vintage Banners”.  The corner edges are created with a decorative square from “Botanical Swirls & Accents” cut in half.  Finally, I added a black silk bow from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, four white pearls and a Recollection oval floral brad.

Monogram Your Journey with Valerie Stangle

The World Awaits You.

 What a fabulous sentiment for a recent graduate!  That’s the thought process I had when I visualized this card.  

The compass image and sentiment from Monogram Your Journey (CR-04510) are highlighted on a simple tag, which is adhered to map patterned paper with dimensional foam.  A shiny silver brad on the popped up compass and gray satin ribbon embellish the tag.

A monogrammed and coordinated envelope makes the perfect presentation for the congratulatory check or gift card.

Happy Birthday with Valerie Stangle

Good morning.  Welcome to day 2 with Valerie Stangle.  Today Valerie has more great masculine projects to share.

Here's Val:

Today I used Birthday Vintage Labels Four (CR-04580)  and its coordinated custom JustRite die set, Vintage Label Fours Dies (JB-04300) to make this masculine card.

The large label is die cut from dark sage and the flourished label stamp is stamped in green ink onto the die cut shape.  The edges are lightly inked with toffee ink to age the panel a bit.  The sentiment is stamped in black ink onto the smaller of the oval die cuts and its edges daubered with toffee ink before adhering to a navy die cut oval.  The “happy” portion of the sentiment is stamped onto a scrap of the patterned paper and carefully trimmed before mounting to the sentiment panel with dimensional foam.  Add 2 antique mini brads to each of the “ray” portion of the sentiment. 

Adhere the finished image panel to the patterned paper base card with dimensional foam.  A twill and grosgrain ribbon treatment completes the card.

To complete a coordinated tag, die cut the tag shape out of patterned paper using JustRite Vintage Labels Four.  Stamp the flourished frame in green ink onto the patterned paper and the sentiment in black. Four antique mini brads embellish the flourish.  Punch a hole at the top for an eyelet and ribbon. Die cut a second tag shape from a solid cardstock (ivory used here) and adhere to back of tag to hide the embellishment workings and provide an area to write your to/from or message.

All Boy Mini Album with Valerie Stangle

Good morning.  Welcome to day 1 with guest designer Valerie Stangle.  We are always so excited to have Valerie join us.  Valerie does some amazing masculine project which you will see today.

Little did I know when this set, All Boy (SW-04520), arrived on my doorstep, that it was going to be the perfect set for so many projects for my soon-to-be grandson.  I knew I wanted to make a mini album/brag book using many of the fun elements of this fabulous set to celebrate this wonderful occasion!

The cover of the book uses the wonderful car silhouette, stamped in rhubarb,  and 2 sentiments from the set.  The Dickens quote is stamped in peanut brittle ink with teal and rhubarb accents. “It’s A Boy!” is stamped in brown ink on a mustard “tab.” Fun colors, patterned papers, die cuts, ribbon and dimension accent the stamped elements on the cover.

The inside cover has the sailboat from the set stamped in peanut brittle with multi-colored sails popped up with dimensional foam.  The chevron pattern stamped in aqua from Pattern Basics (SW-04585) simulates the waves of the ocean. The first blank picture page is simply stamped with a two-toned sentiment from All Boy and a patterned paper strip, embellished with a stapled tab die cut.

Center pages, awaiting future pictures, use two of the border elements, the dotted border and the stitched argyle, from Pattern Basics as well as two more of the super fun sentiments from All Boy. Stapled ribbon embellishments accent each die cut sentiment.

Finally, the back page and back cover are stamped with even more fun sentiments and a cute tugboat image from All Boy riding on chevron “waves.” 

I’m excited to fill this little album with baby pictures and haven’t decided if it will be Gramma’s brag book or a gift for my son.  Decisions, decisions!

Day Two with Guest Designer Robin Parker

 Good morning.  Today Robin Parker has a beautiful scrapbook page to share.

This is such a fun project, I really enjoyed myself and the beautiful young lady in the photos are my daughter at her Prom this year!

 

I created my own scrapbook paper using “Floral Thank You” by JustRite Papercraft.  I stamped the flower all over my white card stock with Marvy Pink ink for the top half of my page.  On the bottom half I used “Ticking Stripe Background” in the same color ink.  Next, I stamped one of the border edges from “Celebration Labels One & Bracket One” on white card stock with Versamark ink and then used burgundy embossing powder.  I did this eight times to create my decorative edges.  To create the frames for my photos, I stamped “Grateful Hearts Vintage Labels Two” onto white card stock with Versamark and used burgundy embossing powder.  I did this three times.  I cut the frames out and adhered my photos to two of the frames.  On the center frame I used a different frame from the same stamp set, my sentiment is from “Winged Vintage Labels Two & Three”.  I embossed and cut out the smaller frame and used pop dots to lift the centerpiece.  My final touches are three white seam binding ribbon and bows by The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Happy Memorial Day!!  We are very excited to have Robin Parker once again as a guest designer.  She has some really nice projects to share this week.

As always, I am honored again to be a guest designer for the fabulous JustRite Papercraft.  I will be creating three projects and I hope you enjoy them!

For my first project I created this card for a student who is graduating from high school.  I first stamped the sentiment from “Celebration Labels One  & Bracket One” onto white card stock with black Marvy ink.  The frame was created using “Grateful Hearts Vintage Labels Two”.  I then cut out around the frame with teal and black card stock.  My designer paper is “Ally’s Wonderland” by S.E.I.  Next, I cut one inch strips out of my designer papers and cut a “v” into the bottom of each strip.  Then I layered them with black and white card stock and made the same “v” shape on all three strips.   I adhered all the designer papers to my white background paper.  My final touches are four black rhinestones and a black graduation cap by Recollections.

Day Three with Guest Designer Cindy Lawrence

Hello, friends!   

It’s my third and final day as guest blogger for JustRite this month.  I’ve had such fun playing with JustRite stamps.  They are SO my style. 

Today’s card showcases the beautifully scripted For All You Do Vintage Labels Three set.

I began with a textured bright yellow 5” square card base. I layered that with white and black card stock and striking patterned paper from the Carolina Breeze collection from Teresa Collins.  The dark grey seam binding, pretty pearl trinket pin, and black rhinestones give the card added interest and balance.  I mimicked the design in the patterned paper with the black rhinestones.

I stamped the beautiful label stamp three times, die-cut each layer with JustRite’s own Vintage Labels Three die set, and  utilized different parts of the label for each layer.  I popped them up with X-Press It Double Sided Foam Tape, and added one final layer die-cut with a Spellbinders Classic Ovals die.

I stamped the heart-warming sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a bit of patterned paper.  The base layer was die-cut with a Spellbinders Teardrop Circles die.  That’s a lot of layers!

Inside the card, I added a strip of patterned paper, and layers of black & white card stock.  I stamped the label in Memento Canteloupe ink, and stamped the sentiment and corner elements in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
