JustRite CHA January Release Floral Basket and Reversed Crackle Background Stamp

Welcome to day two of the JustRite Papercraft CHA January Release.  Today we are introducing two new stamp sets designed by Amy Tedder.  

Floral Basket Clear Stamps is a stunning breath of Spring with coordinating sentiments for Easter, Birthday and Mother's Day.  This is a 4" x 6" set of 12 Clear Stamps with a coordinating SVG.

For those of you who love everything vintage and crackled you are going to fall in love with our newest addition to our Crackle line of stamps. Reversed Crackle Cling Background Stamp has double the crackle of our original Crackle Cling Background Stamp.  The brown areas represent on the graphic represent the stampable image. This background stamp looks stunning embossed in white and spritzed with a spray ink to fill in the cracked areas.  It will quickly become one of your favorite JustRite background stamps.

Marisa Job created this gorgeous card using Floral Basket Clear Stamps and SVG Floral Basket Digital Cut File Download, Reversed Crackle Cling Background Stamp (she used this stamp for her mosaic background), Crackle Cling Background Stamp (for the center of her diecut mat layer).  Marisa colored the Floral Basket with Spectrum Noir Markers and used Spellbinders Labels 40 Decorative Accents.

Heidi Blankenship designed this gorgeous mixed media card using lots of inks, gesso, snow-tex, glitter and corrogated paper.  To create her card Heidi used the following JustRite Stamps and SVG files  CL-02034 Butterflies Cling Stamps, CL-02036 Fern Cling Stamps, SVG-02034 SVG Butterfies Digital Cut File Download for CL-02034,  SVG-02036 SVG Fern Digital Download Cut File for CL-02036. 

Since our SVG files can be made smaller or  larger in the Cameo - Heidi was able to create two additional smaller sized butterflies for her card which she hen stamped with one of our May Release CL-02073 Iron Swirls Cling Background Stamp.  Heidi also created a smaller fern image and simply added lots of ink to the SVG cut to create a smaller fern for her card.

As you can see - we will be seeing lots of little butterflies added on to future projects that Heidi will be making.  Heidi will show you how to manipulate the sizes of the files in a future Tutorial Tuesday.

Debbie Olson designed this absolutely stunning Father's Day Card with a full Copic tutorial on her blog today.  Debbie's Father's Day Card uses our Fern Cling Background Stamps with a sentiment is from Happy Occasion Belly Bands Two.  Debbie airbrushed cardstock with Copic markers and then spritzed colorless blender on the stamp, and then stamped to remove some of the airbrushed color and then inked her stamp and stamped lots more ferns. Darsie Bruno this beautiful card by stamping dark purple ink  with a dauber on purple paper to create a depth in her background paper and then embossing in white the Fern image from our Fern Cling Background Stamps . Darsie added a sentiment with Spellbinders Labels Thirty Eight.

Michele Kovack  has two beautiful cards to share today on her blog.  Her first card uses the  Fern Cling Background Stamps.

Her second card usings our Fleur Twist Cling Background Stamp with  sentiments for Doily One Cling Stamps. Michele embossed in black and then, water colored using Inktense pencils to create her designer paper.  Her flower was created using a Silhouette Cut File.

 

Kazan Clark designed this awesome card by combinng an image from our  Butterflies Cling Stamps with our Fern Cling Stamps and pairing it with Spellbinders Branching Out Nestabilities. 

Marisa Job designed this sweet cards using Butterflies Cling Stamps, SVG Butterflies Digital Cut File Download.  To create her own designer paper Marisa stamped our Fleur Twist Cling Background Stamp on a designer paper. Marisa used these Spellbinders A2 Tranquil Moments Dies, Blooms Three Dies, Blooms Four Dies, Foliage Two Dies to finish her card.

Day Three with Guest Designer Robin Parker

 Good morning.  Welcome to the final day with Guest Designer Robin Parker.  I hope you have enjoyed Robin's projects as much as we have.  Huge thanks to Robin for sharing her talent with us this week.

Thank You Angela and Kellie for another fabulous time creating with JustRite Papercraft products!  For my final creation, I chose to make a Monogram Candle Set!

I purchased three six inch cream candles and gold tray from Michael’s.  I created the monograms by using the outer frame from “Mr. & Mrs. Vintage Labels Four” and the inner frame and letter from “Graceful Monogram”.  I stamped the outer frame first onto tissue paper with Staz-On black ink.  Next I stamped the inner frame and letter into the center of my larger frame with Staz-On black ink.  I then carefully cut out the image.  I laid the candle on its side, laid the cut out frame onto the candle.   I wrapped a piece of wax paper around the candle and image and pulled tightly.  Next, I held the candle with wax paper in one hand and used a heat gun to adhere the framed monogram to the candle.  Use enough heat to make your image shine.  Let candle cool completely, then gently pull wax paper away from candle.  Do this process two more times with different letters.  For the gold tray I added black and clear rhinestones with glue to give a more decorative look.  Place the three candles in the center of tray and add whatever color rocks you wish.  My final touches are gold pearls glued to the frames on each candle.

Day Two with Guest Designer Judy Hayes

 Good morning.  Welcome back to Day 2 with guest designer Judy Hayes.  Judy has some beautiful notebooks to share with you today.

Here's Judy:

Happy Tuesday!  I’m back for Day 2 as Guest Designer!  

Today, I have a collection of little notebooks to share.  I like gifts like these to keep on hand when I need just a little gift. 

I wanted these to have a somewhat vintage worn look so my coloring isn’t exact! I like that look!  You can easily make them differently to fit your style!

The basic directions are the same for each book, only the paper and coloring are a little different. 

Here are the basic directions:

1. Cut cardstock: composition book – 4 ½ x 6 7/8”, strip - 3/8 x 7”, card tag - 1 7/8 x 3 ¾”

2. Stamp French Rose Background Stamp with Espresso ink over half. Ink again and stamp remaining half. 

3. Color with markers and water pen. Set aside to dry

4. Stamp sayings from Grand Sentiments across strip – I put all 3 sayings on my block and repeated across strip.

5. Apply adhesive with Xyron to back of cover and strip

6. Fasten cover over composition book.  Cut corners round to match book. Trim any excess

7. Fasten sayings strip around book.  Trim ends

8. Form tag.  Stamp frame and verse from For All You Do Vintage Labels Three with Espresso ink.  Add color with markers.   Punch hole in corner

9. Tie tag to book with twine. 

……and the differences:

White cover:  This is the only one that I applied the color directly with the markers – Angel Pink, Pistachio and Cantaloupe.  I used a water pen to spread the color a little.  I also swiped the water pen over the script area.  Since Espresso ink is water based, it bleeds a little with water.    I used a narrow ribbon rather than twine.

Ivory cover:  I used my water pen to apply the color on this cover and tag.  I scribbled the marker on my glass work surface and then applied the color as a watercolor.  Markers are: Rhubarb Stalk, Olive Grove and Cantaloupe.  I swished more color over the script on this one.  I also applied Antique Linen ink over the entire cover once it was completed.  Most of my projects get a touch of Distress ink!!!  I had to hold back on the other covers to keep them simpler!  

Kraft cover:  This is my favorite!  It’s amazing how different the same colors look on Kraft paper versus Ivory.  Markers:  Rhubarb Stalk, Olive Grove, and Cantaloupe.  I applied them with a water pen.  I like how faded they look!

Day Three with Guest Designer Valerie Stangle

Using Anchors Away by JustRite I created a nautical themed accordion book for your favorite dad (grandpa, uncle, brother).

The base of the book is 4” x 12” and scored at 4” and 8.”

Each panel is decorated with a piece of 4” x 4” patterned paper before adding the die cut and stamped images.

For the front of the accordion, I used the map stamp from Anchors Away  and coordinated die from Vintage Label and Banner Dies.  I die cut the label in teal and added accent coloring on the rope portion of the image with a tan colored pencil.  The anchor was stamped on a die cut sand circle with teal ink and distressed with sand ink and adhered to a burgundy die cut circle with dimensional foam.  Embellish with a piece of knotted cording, a tiny paper clip and a dad tag and adhere to map die cut layer. Adhere finished focal image to center of front panel with dimensional foam.

Using the map stamp and coordinated die with an inspirational sentiment from Anchors Away, I created the first inside panel in the same manner as the front panel.  The sentiment is stamped in teal ink onto a sand die cut circle and adhered to a burgundy die cut circle.  Adhere to teal stamped die cut with dimensional foam. A brad accented, stamped helm is adhered to the rope die cut layer with dimensional foam. Adhere finished focal image to left inside panel with dimensional foam.

The center of the accordion book was created using the rope frame and ship image from Anchors Away.  I die cut the largest label from Nested Medallion Labels Dies in teal cardstock and added accent coloring with a tan colored pencil.  The ship is stamped in teal ink onto a sand die cut circle, adhered to a burgundy die cut circle and embellished with a rope knot and clip.  Adhere completed ship to teal medallion die cut with dimensional foam.  Adhere finished focal image to center inside panel with dimensional foam.

The final page of the accordion book was created using the map stamp and coordinate die once more.   Accented with a birthday banner stamp from Anchors Away and coordinated die from Vintage Label and Banner Dies and anchored with love sentiment, it will be sure to bring a smile to your nautical guy’s face!
