Start coloring the background stamp with the Distress Markers. I started with Tumbled Glass and then Peacock Feathers. Next I added Broken China and finished with Faded Jeans. Once the entire stamp is colored lightly mist with water. Mist a piece of watercolor paper and place on top of the background stamp.
Tip: Be sure to use the smooth side of the watercolor paper when stamping.
Mist the stamp and watercolor paper again. Stamp and see the second result. Now mist the stamp and watercolor paper for a third time and stamp again. I just loved all three results!
I used the first generation stamped image to create this card.
These are the additional supplies I used to create the card using the first generation of the inked background stamp.

For Tutorial Tuesday, JustRite Papercraft designer, Darsie Bruno, shows us how to create the Bokeh Effect with re-inkers and q-tips! This is a fun technique that incorporates tiny dots of ink to achieve the “bokeh” look, which is described as “out-of-focus points of light”. You can use this technique with any of our stamps, die cuts and underneath our fabulous background stamps.
Congratulations to Linda F! Thanks for commenting on Heidi's Tutorial last week on the JustRite Blog. You are the winner of last week's Tutorial Tuesday Giveaway- a $25.00 Gift Certificate to the JustRite Website.
Linda F wrote... Heidi's tutorial is wonderful such gorgeous backgrounds. While your question was about my favourite stamp set - my favourite stamp is the crackle background very closely followed by the script background. Both are absolutely fabulous for vintage style card making and giving great texture in a collage stamping.

For the second background I used CL-02027 Burlap Background Stamp, CL-02076 Floral Stitched Background Stamp. For the Burlap background I used Peanut Brittle ink. After inking the stamp I took a paper towel and removed some of the ink from the stamp. The image will still stamp but some spots will be lighter. For the Floral Stitched background I used Toffee Crunch ink.
Since both my patterns for this card are a dense design. I inked the burlap image and removed some of the ink before I stamped my paper. This gave me the variation I wanted so that the CL-02076 Floral Stitched Background Stamp became the stronger image.
Here is my finished card.
and a closer look so you can see the variation in the pattern I got by removing some of the ink from the Burlap Cling Background Stamp.

Welcome to Day Two of the JustRite Papercraft CHA February Release. Today we are introducing a beautiful new wing themed set inspired by Heidi Blankenship called Whisper of Wings Clear Stamp.
In the set you will find a beautiful quote from Heidi. I asked Heidi to share with you today what this quote means to her.
"Life is so fast pass these days and I think sometimes we forget to take a few quiet moments and just BE in that moment. I truly believe that angels and the spirits of those who have gone before us are all around us—watching over us, protecting us and guiding us. To me “Let your heart be still and hear the whisper of the wings”, means to give yourself permission to have those quiet moments. Maybe to reflect on things or maybe just to let your mind relax and refresh and have that moment. You never know maybe something profound will come to you, maybe an idea, or an answer to a question or maybe the quiet whisper of angels wings to calm you and let you know they are watching over you and you are loved."
Today Heidi Blankenship is sharing two cards she designed with Whisper of Wings Clear Stamps. For her first stunning card, Heidi stamped and embossed the feathers in white and then created a wonderful watercolor background with paint spatters and sequins.
