Hello everyone, Heidi Blankenship here for Tutorial Tuesday with JustRite Papercraft.  Today, I will be sharing the JustRite Binder Box Storage System with you.  This is a wonderful storage system for cling mount stamps, background stamps, and die templates.  

This video is going to be a little bit different than most of my videos I will be talking and sharing the storage system throughout the video and I will also add a few still shot pictures.  So let’s get started.

Here is what the binder boxes look like.

The box measures 9  1/2" x 7  3/16" x 1  3/8" Translucent binder box for storing your JustRite Cling Stamps. 

 

Binder features a clear overlay with JustRite Insert that you can customize to identify which sets are in each binder.  The perfect storage solution for the JustRite Cling Stamps.  Easily transport your stamps to a class or crop in this secure mini binder. Will accommodate storage panels up to 8  1/2" x 5  1/2". Binder fits 4- 8  1/2" x 5  1/2" storage panels comfortably. The binder features a locking clip that keeps your stamps sets secure.  The cling stamp sets and background stamps come with a storage panel.  On one side the panel has a color image of the stamp/s, with the name of the stamp set, how many stamps are in the set, the item number and who designed the stamp/s.

 You can also order additional blank storage panels on the JR Website. 

  

You can also download printable Binder Box Insert to organize and customize you storage boxes by designer.  The download is a is a PDF Printable Digital Download for a Binder Box Insert.   This is what the Binder Box Insert looks like when you first print ithem out.  The inserts are available for Amazing Paper Grace Designs, Amy Tedder Designs, Samantha Walker Designs.

This is how I store my background stamps.

and this is how I store my JustRite dies.

 

I use Magnet roll which can be found at most of the big box stores.  One side is the magnet and the other side has adhesive like a sticker.  Cut off a piece the size you need and peel off the backing.  Then bend the magnet strip back and forth so it will lay flat on the insert and adhere it the the blank panels.

Tutorial Tuesday Holiday Shadow boxes designed by Darsie Bruno

For Tutorial Tuesday, JustRite Papercraft designer, Darsie Bruno shows us how to create a charming Holiday Shadowbox using paper, our Christmas stamps and Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics die templates. See how easy it is to make a shadowbox that will fit on a desk, mantle or countertop. Whether you use our elegant or cute Christmas stamps, you will have a lasting home décor piece for the holidays.

 Darsie's Snowman Shadow box.

 

To create your shadow box cut 3 panels - cut 1 panel sized 6" x 7",  cut 2 panels sized 6" x 7 ½". Score on each side at ¼ inch and fold. 

Next cut the last panel is sized 6" x 10". Score on each side at ½" and 1 ½" and fold. This panel is the front of your shadow box.

Using Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A #3, #5 and #7 (die #1 is the smallest die). Place die #7 in the middle of the first (non-scored) panel, secure with tape, and cut with your machine.

Place that frame onto one of the ¼ inch scored panels, then place die #5 into the center, secure with tape, and cut.

Place that frame on top of the last ¼ inch scored panel, then place die #3 into the center, secure with tape, and cut.

Stamp and emboss each panel with Snow Days Background Cling stamp.

To create the snow hills, used Spellbinders Curved Borders One with cardstock. Make two of these.

To decorate the shadowbox, use Applique Christmas Labels One Clear Stamps and Christmas Stitched with Love Clear Stamps with their coordinating SVG Offset file. Color and glitter each stamped image.

To put the shadowbox together, add glue to the ¼" scored panel with the smallest opening and glue to the side flaps of the main large panel.  Add a snow hill to the frame. Add glue to the second ¼" scored panel with the middle sized opening and glue on top of the previous frame. Add a snow hill, the snowman and a snowflake.

Glue the final frame on top and add the trees, a sentiment piece and the remaining snowflake.

Tutorial Tuesday Altered Chalkboard with Heidi Blankenship

For Tutorial Tuesday, JustRite Papercraft Designer Heidi Blankenship shares a DIY Embellished Chalkboard that would be perfect for gift giving.  This is a quick, easy, and inexpensive gift to create in time for the holidays.

Instructions:

I used Tim Holtz Distress Stain Vintage Photo to cover up the raw wood on the easel.  Instead of spraying the stain I used a paint brush to apply it directly to the wood.   Then I set the easel aside to dry.

To create the embellishments for my Count Down to Christmas Chalkboard I used the these stamps- Appliqué Christmas Labels One Clear Stamps, CR-02024 Christmas Stitched with Love Clear Stamps and their coordinating SVG'S - SVG Appliqué Christmas Labels One Cut File Digital Download for CR-02026, SVG Christmas Stitched with Love Vintage Labels Seven Digital Cut File Download for CR-02024
and JustRite JB-04895 Vintage Labels Seven Dies.

I used Spectrum Noir™ Markers to color the images. These are the colors for the snowman-Body IB1, Scarf TB1, TB4, Nose OR2, OR3, Cheeks PP1.For the hat I used GG3, GG5, TB1, LG5, DR4, for the twig arms I used EB3 and for the holly leaves I used LG5, JG5.

To assemble the Christmas embellishment first I used Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue to adhere the twig arms to the snowman. Next I added 3D Foam Squares to the back of all the cutouts and placed them as shown.  Then I added a magnet to the front of the chalkboard and the back of the embellishment.  To finish off the Christmas embellishment I added some large red bling to look like berries.

Here is a quick tip--When creating several cutouts to keep for extras put a little X on the backside so when you go to stamp you will know at a quick glance which side is the front.

I used the Offset files for all of the cutouts I created for the project.  I stamped the images using Memento Tuxedo Black  ink.
