Here is a screen shot of the cut files after I ungrouped the images, selected the ones I wanted and copied and paste several times to fill in the paper.
Here are instruction on how to fill your page with multiple images on your page in your Cameo:
Move the mouse on top of the image, right click and then click UNGROUP in the drop down menu. This will create a box around each image. Then drag and drop all of the images you want to keep to one side. Click and drag the mouse to create a box over the remaining images. Right click and then click on CUT in the drop down menu to remove the images. Drag the mouse over the images you want to use creating a box around them. Next right click to COPY all images at once and right click again to PASTE. Do this as many times as you would like. Then drop and drag images to fill up the paper space. Once you have this done then you can cut multiple images at one time.
For the background stamps I used CL-02027 Burlap Cling Background Stamp, CL-02127 Crackle Cling Background Stamp, CL-04430 Floral Florishes Cling Background Stamp. To stamp all of the background images I used Memento Espresso Truffle ink.
I used an old cut mat from my Silhouette Cameo to place all the cut outs on. The old mats are perfect for this--just sticky enough to hold the paper in place while stamping and misting. When I am done I rinse it off and let it air dry.
I am using three different background stamps so I have three groups of cut outs. Ink the stamp with Espresso Truffle, stamp and repeat on the other cut outs.
Now the fun part, time to add some color to the leaves. I used Distress Spray Stains -
Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Rusty Hinge, Fired Brick, Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint.
There is no right or wrong way to do this. I just randomly sprayed the colors until I liked how the leaves looked. Once all of the color was applied I used a heat tool to dry the paper.
Here is a look at the leaves once they were dry.
To shape the leaves I used a 6mm round ball stylus and a foam pad. Run the stylus down the center of the leaf and then out towards the end of the leaf.
Now it's time to put the centerpiece together. Make sure your glue gun is ready but please be careful--they are really hot! I used a small grapevine basket, berry sprigs, acorns, hydrangea flowers and the paper leaves.
Start by adding the filler flower.
Use hot glue to adhere t to the basket. Next add the hydrangea flowers and acorns.
To finish off the basket add the paper leaves.
I just love how the basket turned out and the leaves are so beautiful!
Add a votive cup and battery votive candle to the center of the basket to finish the centerpiece. Here are a few closes ups of the leaves in the centerpiece.
This project would make a wonderful hostess gift for Thanksgiving.
My finished centerpiece measures about 8" x 10" and I purchased the basket, votive, battery operated candle, filler flowers, acorns and hydrangea flowers at my local Joann's.
