For Tutorial Tuesday, JustRite Papercraft designer, Darsie Bruno shows you how to create Rustic Christmas Tags using our Christmas Stitched with Love Clear Stamp Set with Spellbinders New Holiday Greetings die template. She shows you how to emboss, add a shadow effect to letters, create a multi-colored panel and a fun way to use the leftover chads from the die template.

For some very cool tips on how to use the new Holiday Greetings Template be sure to watch Darsie's Video. Darise created all these projects using only one cut of this very cool new Christmas Die.
Here are written instructions:
To create her first Christmas Tag, Darsie used the Holiday Greetings die template to dry emboss the greetings. Then she highlighted the raised embossed areas using Tsukineko MementoLUXE Wedding Dress. Darsie used our SVG Christmas Stitched with Love Vintage Labels Seven to electronically cut dark green cardstock trees and then stamped and embossed them in white. Next she added the Deer and Package die cuts from Frosty Form Dies and the Noel Die Cuts from the Holiday Greetings Die template.
To create her second Rustic Christmas Tag, Darsie stamped our Burlap Cling Background Stamp with red on her craft tag. Next she stamped and embossed in white the Vintage Labels Seven Label image and diecut it with our Vintage Labels Seven Die. Darsie used the SVG Christmas Stitched with Love Vintage Labels Seven to electronically cut the Dove (in red cardstock) and Holly Branches (from dark green cardstock), Next she stamped and embossed them with white embossing powder.
The Joy Die Cut is from the new Spellbinders Holiday Greetings die template.
You can see how to create the tag pocket at the video time stamp 4:25. Darsie created the fun Tag Pocket using the original white die cut from the Holiday Greetings die template. She backed the die cut with strips of red and green cardstock to make the die cut shapes pop. To create the pocket cut a 6" x 10" piece of cardstock. Score vertically at 2 3/4" and at 7 1/4". Next score 1/2" from the bottom. Create a tab at the bottom by cutting off the 1/2 inch from the left and right panel (leaving only the center 1/2 strip) adhere your pocket as shown in the video.
In the video Darsie tells you to leave the Christmas Tree chads in the die until later. Here in this project Darsie shows you how to use clear packing tape and the Tool n' One to retrieve the Christmas tree chads and then she adds green glitter to the packing tape to create the glittered tree tag.
