Here are all the pieces I cut using the Silhouette Cameo and SVG files for the Elegant Stationery Elements. The largest piece is the envelope and requires a 12 x 12 piece of paper to cut the file and needs to be a lighter weight cardstock. The envelope has score lines on each side.
The notecard also has score lines for folding and a decorative edge.
The SVG file also comes with a border element. You can use the border element o layer on the outside or inside edge of your card. The last piece is an accent piece that you can layer on top of the card or on the envelope. I created two stationery sets by cutting the pieces twice-once with solid colored cardstock and then with coordinating pattern paper.
The SVG file coordinates with Elegant Fan Elements Clear Stamp Set.
Here is the notecard that I designed for today's video.
To start fold the card base on the score line. Run a bone folder along the edge to get a nice crisp fold.
Next match up the border piece along the bottom. Add adhesive and then trim off excess.
Use VersaMark ink to stamp the border along the bottom of the card. The stamps coordinate and line up perfectly with the cut pieces.
Then add white embossing powder and heat set.
For the accent piece I used VersaMark ink to stamp the flourish and then white embossing powder and heat set. Add adhesive to the accent piece and attach it to the card front. Line up the center or the accent piece with the center of the stamped border image.
To adhere the lace trim and bows I used Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue. Set the piece aside for a couple minutes to dry a little and become tacky. Once the adhesive on the lace has become a little tacky then add it to the top of the card front and added the bows too. Trim off excess lace and the ribbon ends on the bows.
To finish off the card and envelope I added some flowers, sequins and pearls.
Here is a picture of the envelope I created with the Envelope SVG.
Here is what the envelope cut file looks like.....
Using VersaMark ink stamp the flourish on all four corners of the envelope add white embossing powder and heat set.
Fold the envelope flaps on the score lines on all four sides. Use a bone folder for a nice crisp edge.
To finish off the envelope I added some flowers, sequins and pearls. For the envelope I created a ribbon belly band that can be removed to open and close the card--just simply slide it off.
