Good morning. Welcome to Day Two with Guest Designer Melissa Bove. Today Melissa has a beautiful Sympathy Card.
Here's Melissa:
Hi everyone! For today’s card, I wanted to make a Sympathy card because I always find they are one of the most difficult cards to make. But with JustRite’s With Sympathy Clear Stamp set, I wanted to show just how simple it can be when using this beautiful set.
I first made my card base using the larger die from the Timeless Rectangles Die Set by Spellbinders. I then adhered the next size die from the set onto the front of the card using some pop dots. Next I stamped the frame from the With Sympathy Set onto a Nested Oval Medallion Label Die Cut, colored it in slightly using some Pink Pastel Chalk and then added some Liquid Pearls to some of the scrolls. I then adhered it to the card front also using pop dots.
Next I stamped that gorgeous Rose onto some white cardstock with black
ink. I then colored in the image using some Distress Markers by Tim Holtz. I
then cut the image out with a craft knife. I finished off the card with some satin
green ribbon and more Liquid Pearls.
I’ll be back tomorrow with some Vintage Christmas!!
