Hello, friends!
I am back with a fresh and colorful card to share with you on this fine Tuesday. I just had to play with the Botanical Medallions & Banners set. It’s such a gorgeous set!
I began by die-cutting my X-Press It Blending Card with the largest Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles die. I love the lacey edges on this die set! The patterned paper layers are actually from Little Yellow Bicycle’s Splash collection, which is a very bright, beachy collection of papers. The colors were perfect for my card, and I was able to choose papers that fit into the theme beautifully.
The banner was stamped with Memento Morocco ink, and air-brushed with a YR07 Copic marker.
The pretty lacey trim along the bottom of the card was a pale pink before I got ahold of it. I air-brushed it with a YR07 Copic marker. I also added a trio of green rhinestones to balance the card.
I die-cut the frame with the Nested Oval Medallion Labels dies. I then die-cut the center oval with a Spellbinders Classic Ovals die.
I stamped the lovely iris bouquet on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored it in with the following Copic markers:
*leaves – YG01/YG03/YG17
*blooms – B61/B63/B66/B69/YG03/Y32
*bow – YR07/YR09/R29
*air-brushed background – YR07
Inside the card, I added a couple of strips of patterned paper, stamped the sentiment in Memento Morocco, and stamped the iris bouquet in Memento Bamboo Leaves, which I stamped off once to lighten the ink color.
