Welcome to my final day as guest designer for JustRite Stamps. It has been a thrill to show you how versatile and wonderful JustRite Stamps are. I would like to thank everyone at JustRite for this wonderful opportunity to create with their wonderful products!
My last project is all about the graduate! It’s almost that time of year as the school year winds down. JustRite’s new set, Celebration Labels One and Bracket One, has many options for projects with the graduate in mind.
I made a card and a matching gift bag. The layout is pretty much the same on both, so you can make the card and bag in tandem and mix the sentiments around to your liking.
Here’s how I made the card:
Step 1- Die cut a card base from gold card stock using Spellbinders Labels One die set.
Step 2-Die cut a label out of black card stock using Spellbinders Decorative Labels One. Adhere to card base with foam tape.
Step 3- Die cut label from white card stock using Spellbinders Labels One die set. Emboss and adhere to center of card.
Step 4- Using label stamp from Celebration Labels One and Bracket One, stamp once on vellum and once on white card stock. Emboss both in gold. Stamp sentiment in center of label stamped on white card stock. Emboss in black. Diecut vellum piece with Spellbinders Label One dies and die cut ONLY center part of the white card stock label with a Spellbinders Standard Circles die.
Step 5- Layer both pieces as shown and adhere to card with foam tape. Add mortar board hat sticker, diploma sticker and star as shown.
For the bag, I layered some black scroll paper over gold card stock and adhered to the bag front. I cut the largest die in the Spellbinders Decorative Labels One set from gold card stock and placed in the middle of the bag front.
I used both label stamps from the Celebration Labels One and Bracket One set stamping both onto white card stock and embossing both in black. I embossed the sentiment in gold and die cut it using the matching die from the Antique Tags One custom die set, adhering to the center. I stamped and die cut a border for the bottom edge of the bag using a border stamp from the Celebration Labels One and Bracket One stamp set. I then die cut it with an A2 Bracket Borders One die. I wrapped a black satin ribbon around it to conceal the joint and added a gold star to the center of the bow. I randomly added a few gold sequins to the front for a little sparkle.
