Welcome back for another day of great projects by guest designer Valerie Stangle. Valerie enjoys creating masculine cards/projects. Today she has a great mini album using JustRite Premium Labels and Vintage Label & Banner dies.

For today’s project I used JustRite Premium Labels to create an album for a premium dad for a birthday, Father’s Day or special event.
First, to form the album, cut patterned paper to size (4” x 12”, score at 6”) and corner round outside corners. Sand edges with a sanding block. Create a binding edge with sand cardstock (4” x 2-1/2”, score on the shorter side at 1-1/4”). Ink edges with sand ink and add a bit of piercing before adhering to the patterned paper cover.
Using Vintage Label & Banner Dies, die cut a large Vintage Label in dark grey cardstock and set aside.
For the stamped, layered focal point, start with a small die cut Vintage Label in sand cardstock and stamp the “Authentique Friend” label stamp in rhubarb ink. Add a bit of edge distressing with sand ink. Adhere to the dark grey die cut label with dimensional foam.
Because I wanted it to be an album for a special dad, I needed to alter the original sentiment. I did this by stamping the “Guaranteed, Top Quality, Premium Dad” image with grey ink onto a die cut sand circle, ink edges with sand ink. Mat on a grey petite scalloped die cut and adhere to the label with dimensional foam. Adhere completed, stamped label to cover of album with dimensional foam.
For the inside pages, cut sand cardstock to 3-15/16” x 11”, three total, and score at 5-1/2”. Corner round all corners. Add a 1” decorative strip of patterned paper to each page, front and back. Attach a few die cut page tabs. Bind pages into album with Baker’s Twine. Add your favorite photos or journaling and present to your Premium dad!
