JustRite Friday Challenge #080 - More Than One Fold

I've got another fun challenge for you here at JustRite Inspiration. I even stump myself sometimes and barely got this one done in time. I sometimes wish I could see what you all make before I have to show you mine - LOL! At least these challenges make me try new things too and isn't that what it's all about?

For this challenge, I would like you to create a card with "More Than One Fold". This could be an easel card, criss cross card, tri-shutter card, gate fold, etc. I have seen some really great styles out there and cant wait to see what you guys come up with. Remember, it MUST be a card and MUST have more than one fold to qualify.

I chose a Criss Cross style card using Antique Christmas Tags One & Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves.

I intended it to hold the recipe card for a dessert dish that I plan to bring to a family gathering over the holiday weekend. You can get more details and additional pics of my project on my blog here.

Amazing Paper Grace Sept Kit Inspiration Day #2

Today the design team has more Amazing Inspiration for the Two by Two Postage Die and the Signed Sealed Delivered Stamp set in the Amazing Paper Graces September Kit Club.

Just arriving this week is the design team's favorite flower die - designed by Donna Salzar - Bitty Blossoms.   

This is the die that Marisa Job uses so beautifully on all her projects.

Amazing Paper Grace Kit Club - September Kit Inspiration Day #1

Eva Dobilas used 2 squares of the Two by Two Posatge Die to create this FABULOUS card with an Airmail Theme -- just love the layout -and the color combination and how Eva used the Two by Two die to create a Two by One layout.  For more details visit Eva's Blog post.

Heidi Blankenship has a STUNNING card that really pops by using the postage die element to cut black frames for her postage stamp images.  Love the small charm that Heidi created just under her bow.

Michele Kovack has a new puppy -- Isn't he ADORABLE! Michele used the Signed Sealed Delivered Stamp set to create a Thank you card for the shelter that rescued her Cutie Pie!! 

 Sheri Holt designed this beautiful altered clip board using stamps and die cuts from Becca's September Card kit.  Sheri had a blast playing with all the fun postage themed stamps in Becca's kit.

 Kazan Clark designed this fun card by cutting apart the die cut image so that she created 4 individual frames which she reassembled to create this Two by Two Postage Frame layout.

JustRite Friday Challenge #079 - "Opposites Attract"

It's time for another color challenge here at JustRite Inspiration. This time we are asking you to use the color wheel and make a card with "complimentary" colors (colors opposite each other on the color wheel).

This image above is for reference only but you can use any color range - light to dark - to create your card.  I also found a very helpful tool online that helps you pick colors as well.  You can find it HERE.  There are many useful tools online besides this tool, so if you have one, please share YOUR favorite tool in comments below!

I have made TWO cards for you today to show a pastel version and primary version of the same color scheme.  The first card is using scraps of pink and lime green papers with Ever After Antique Labels One. 

The second card in shades of red and green was created using Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles and a sentiment from Large Fancy Sentiments cut with JustRite Custom Charm dies.

Amy Tedder August Christmas Collection

 Marisa Job has a drop dead gorgeous card using our Cling Merry & Bright stamp set with the 2010 Heirloom Ornament (all 3 years of Heirloom Ornament dies are now in stock in our warehouse)as her focal point with layered with our Season's greetings Sentiment from Antique Christmas Tags One die cut with Antique Tags One Dies. Sharon Harnist used the Merry Christmas Background Stamp to frame her precious Christmas photo of her girls.  Her project shows off how pretty our Merry Christmas Background stamp looks layered with  Spellbinders A-2 Fancy Postage Stamps Card Creator dies.  To accent her home decor piece Sharon used the Believe in the Magic tag element from Antique Christmas Tags One die cut with Antique Tags One Dies.
