Just Keep Calm is one of those stamp sets that is truly loaded with possibilities, and I can't think of a single one that wouldn't put a smile on anyone's face. I put together a combination that made me literally laugh out loud. Here I am, a middle-aged mother of three, and what's one of the first things I do when things start falling apart? Call mom! I think this would make a darling mother's day card -- humorous, yet sweet as can be.
I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink onto white card stock, then added the telephones in Ranger Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. The sentiment label was die-cut with one of JustRite's custom Spellbinders dies from the Nested Oval Medallion Labels set. The Kraft label behind that was die-cut with a Nested Medallion Labels die and stamped with one of the beautiful frame images in the Just Keep Calm set using white pigment ink. I thought the trendy vibe of this set would work well with the Chevron Stripe Background Stamp. The chevron pattern was stamped with Versamagic Sea Breeze ink on white card stock. I love the way Eva cut along the pattern on this card, so I did the same, except I placed my cut edge along the top. Details include bling, pom-pom trim, satin ribbon, corduroy brads, and some scoring along the bottom of the dark gray card base.
