I have lots of exciting things planned for 2012!! Some of them I can't share with you quite yet ,but I assure you all the news is exciting!! Today's news is that Sheri Holt will be joining the JustRite Team as our official JustRite Friday Challenge Host. Sheri is an advid JustRite Challenge participant and part of our challenge community. Please join me in welcoming Sheri to the JustRite Team!!
I also would like to take this opportunity to thank Sharon Harnist for all the wonderful challenges she has planned over the past years. Don't fret you can still see Sharon's beautiful JustRite Design work every month here and on her blog as a regular JustRite Design Team member.
I can’t tell everyone how excited I was when asked to be the new host for the JustRite Friday Challenges! I am planning some fun things in the upcoming weeks, in addition to a few changes, so you will want to be sure and subscribe to the blog so you can be up to date!
For challenge #069, all you need is a butterfly and soft Spring colors! It’s THAT simple!! There are several sets of stamps that have butterflies OR you can use a butterfly embellishment with one of JustRite’s many floral stamps. It just needs to have a noticeable butterfly!
I LOVE all the new background stamps! They are SO versatile! For my sample, I used Ticking Stripe background stamp with Memento Summer Sky. The butterfly image is from Botanical Butterflies and stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa, as well as the sentiment in the lower right corner. I used COPIC markers to color the image and accent the flower.
The grand prize for this challenge will be 3 JustRite stamp sets of your choice.
THREE honorable mention winners will each receive 1 stamp set of your choice.
CHALLENGE RULES:
You will need to use JustRite stamps on your project and upload it to an online blog, gallery or photo hosting website. You may make and enter as many different projects as you'd like for our challenges. You will then need to link to your project back here on our blog post, using the linking system on this challenge post. Please make certain your link is directly to your project, not just your general blog home page or overall photo gallery, so we can find it easily. (Links that are spam, commercial in content, or are not linked properly/directly to your project will be deleted). If you choose to upload your project to www.Splitcoaststampers.com OR our Flickr gallery, please use the weekly challenge code (example:JRC_069 <== that's an underscore between the letters and numbers) in the keyword section of the Splitcoast project upload page or the tag section of the Flickr gallery.
You will have until Wednesday, April 4 at 8:00 PM Central to make your project and enter a link to it below. Winners will be chosen and announced the next day (Thursday, April 5) here on the JustRite Inspiration Blog. By entering our challenges, you grant JustRite Stampers permission to use your artwork here on our blog as well as our company website gallery (with designer credit given and your blog post or gallery linked) or any possible advertising.
We will also be sponsoring the challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room starting Monday, the 26th so you will want to get out your stamps and join in for a chance at more prizes!
We can’t wait to see your Spring Fling projects!
