Today we are very excited to announce that Darsie Bruno is officially joining the JustRite Design team. Darsie has been a frequent JustRite Challenge Player and has won several of the JustRite Challenges she has participated in! She has amazed us with her beautiful work as a guest designer. As a special JustRite Treat she will be sharing her newest creations here on the JustRite blog for the next three days.
To say that Darsie is slightly addicted to JustRite stamps is an understatement. When I asked her which JustRite Stamps she owned the list was huge! Congratulations Darsie!!! We can't wait to see what you create next!!
Officially Introducing Darsie Bruno:
I do not remember a time when I wasn’t dreaming or creating as I grew up. I have ventured into all sorts of craft mediums from quilting, doll making, photography and more. I was introduced to paper crafting through a local stamp store in 2004 and haven’t looked back! I love it when a card comes together from the image in my mind. A proud mom of three adult children, I live in a small town in Upstate New York where I create my works of art. I’m so excited to be a part of JustRite Stamps! It’s a dream come true!
Thinking of You Today
As I was digging through my tons of paper, I found an Anna Griffin paper stack that I didn’t even remember buying! I am so glad I did, because as soon as I saw it, I let out a squeal and immediately knew I would use it for a card I had in mind for JustRite’s Always & Forever Medallion Labels. The pretty frame stamps are just gorgeous embossed with white embossing powder on designer paper! I used Nested Medallion Label Dies, and Nested Oval Medallion Label Dies to cut out my stamped images. I added pop dots to each piece and layered them onto Spellbinders Blossom and Tags die. I cut a small die from Labels Seventeen for my sentiment, which I edged with Copic markers. I used an embossing folder to add some texture to my green cardstock for the top of my card and the lower portion is a beautiful floral print from the Anna Griffin stack. I stamped a pretty border using Lace Borders, and adhered it to my card panel. I added my sentiment medallion, then a satin and organza bow, beaded stick pins and was finished!
