JustRite Friday Challenge #065: For The Love Of ...

For today's new JustRite Friday Challenge #065, For The Love Of . . . we'd like to see what it is you love!  Our challenge to you is to make a project using your JustRite stamps depicting something you love.  Examples: A love/Valentine card for a spouse, sibling, friend.  A love scrapbook page for a child.  An I/you/we love chocolate (or other food, shoes) card or gift.  A floral card because you love flowers, etc.  Easy enough?!!

My sample is a Valentine/Love card, using one of my favorite things to color ... flowers! (JustRite Clear With Sympathy roses):

The roses were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto patterned paper and then colored with Copic markers (colors listed below).

The image was die cut with Spellbinders dies and the seam binding ribbon was also colored with Copic markers to match the roses.

The grand prize for this challenge will be one of our brand new CHA Release stamp sets, a background stamp and a JustRite custom die set of the winner's choice!

THREE honorable mention winners will each receive their choice of either JustRite's new custom Nested Medallion Label dies or Nested Oval Medallion Label dies, manufactured by Spellbinders!

Congratulations to our JustRite Friday Challenge #064 Winners

JustRite Friday Challenge #064: Inspiration

Hello and welcome back to the JustRite Friday Challenges . . . We hope you all had lovely holidays and are refreshed for the new year!  We also hope you enjoyed seeing all of our new January products we previewed over the last two weeks, because here's your chance to WIN some of them!

Our first challenge for the new year is this tranquil and serene inspiration photo:

Just use the photo to gather inspiration for your project -- either from the colors, patterns, layout, textures or general feeling, combined with your JustRite stamps.

My sample uses the color palette and the bilowy drapes reminded me of butterflies, for this 4"x4" card:

I used JustRite's Clear Botanical Butterflies set, stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink onto ivory cardstock and colored with Copic markers and Atyou Spica Glitter Pens. The butterfly image was die cut with Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circle Nestabilities dies and popped up over patterned paper die cut with JustRite's new Nested Oval Medallion Labels dies.

Introducing Sea Shell Bay Labels Twenty Two

 Welcome to Day 7 of JustRite CHA Release #1 -- we have 3 Nautical/Beach themed sets in our CHA collection.  Today we are debuting Sea Shell Bay Labels Twenty Two.

Today's projects are simply OVER THE MOON STUNNING!! 

Becca Feeken  created a FAB Seahorse card with lots of texture for all the details visit her blog.

 

Beate Johns has an absolutely gorgeous seahorse card!!  Her seahorse is so exquisitely colored!!  Love how Beate colors!!

 Sankari Wegman  created a beautiful nautical ensemble.  Just love how she used real grommets and rope on here card.

Sankari shows you how you can use the card and sea shell jar as home decor in this sweet white shelf.

Michele Kovack has a beautiful card showcasing the Jacques Cousteau Labels Twenty Two sentiment from Sea Shell Bay.  Love her selection of the crackled red paper and her fabulous bow.

 Sharon Harnist  - created 2 wonderful home decor pieces using Sea Shell Bay Labels Twenty.   Sharon created a wonderful collage of nautical papers to show off our Seahorse image and the relax in the sun label in 8" x  8" shadow box frame.  Then she created a beach memories bottle to show off sand and shells from a family vacation in St. Johns.

 

Barb Schram  shows us just how stunning the Sea Horse Stamp looks stamped in a single color. Barb is using a nautical theme to decorate her guest room so she decorated these 3 IKEA cups by stamping the Sea Horse image in three different colors.

 

And then placed these cups on a towel bar to create a place for her grandchildren to store chalk and chalk erasers for this sweet table that has a chalk board top to write on!! 

 

 Kathy Jones lives in Australia and is in the midst of a heat wave in the middle of Australian Summer.  We are all just a little jealous!!  Kathy used our new Ticking Stripe Background to create the upper half of her card base and paired it with whimiscal fish paper.

 

 Angela Barkhouse brings the essence of the beach to the background of her card base using beach papers and polished stone papers from Murdock Country Creations (my paper line). For all the details visit her blog.

Linda Duke  has a soft pastel green Sea Horse card with a complete video tutorial.

Kazan Clark uses our Scrolled Vine Background Stamp to show off  her red white and blue rendition of Sea Shell Bay.  Her card base is also a Polished Stone Paper from Murdock Country Creations.

Introducing Starburst Medallions Cling Stamps

 Welcome to Day 6 of our release.  Today we are introducing Starburst Medallion Labels and I can't wait for you to see what the design team created with this FABULOUS SET!!!   

 

Wowza -- the design team is on fire!!!  This will kick your Craft Mojo into high gear!!

Becca Feeken --knocks this set out of the park!!  Seriously what will she think of next!!

 

Don't you just love how Becca used the Starburst Medallion Stamp set and the Nested Medallion Die to create this gorgeous flower to top off her box.  Look beyond the flower and you will see our Ticking Stripe Background Stamp---with a little twist....

 Debbie Olson  thinks outside of the box today and uses the Starburst Medallions to create her own designer paper !!  For all the details visit her blog.

Today Beate Johns isn't able to join us on our hop but she was able to create a striking card to showcase the Starburst Medallion by embossing the image in white.

Eva Dobilas picked a wonderful color combination of turquoise, pinks, oranges, blacks and yellows to showcase our Starburst Medallion and Starburst Medallion Border with one of the borders from our Classic Scallop Borders One set!! How fun.

 Michele Kovack has a bright and cheerful card showcasing the Starburst Medallion  image stamped in blue as the center piece of her card.

Kathy Jones  showcases are new Harlequin Script Background stamp as the base of her card by stamping it on black paper and embossing it white for a stunning effect.

 Kellie Fortin - I used Delft China as inspiration for my card. I paired an Oval Medallion from our Keep Calm Set with the smaller Starburst Medallion.  I wanted to show you how you could make a striking card with this set without needing to do lots of layering.

 

Sankari Wegman  has created a wonderful series of cards using the Fleur de Lis Pendant Dies as a mat layer for her Starburst Medallions.   

How fun would it be to receive on of these wonderful cards from Sankari!! Just love how she used the Starburst Medallion Border to accent both the top and bottom of her cards!!

 Kazan Clark creates a stunning shaped card using Spellbinders Tear Drop Circle to make her layered Starburst Medallion just pop!!

Introducing Just Keep Calm 6" x 8" Large Format Clear Stamps

Today we are introducing a totally fun set of stamps inspired by all the variations of the Keep Calm and Carry On  World War Two British Poster created in 1939 at the beginning of the Second World War.  

Here is the original Poster that started the Keep Calm Craze!!

The poster was rediscovered in 2000 and has lead to a wide range of products and Ad Campaigns all over the world.  Traditional Versions of this sign appear with a solid background with one color of font.  But we just couldn't resist adding a JustRite Twist to this fun theme by adding our own graphic twist to the Keep Calm Craze.

Her second card is a fun reminder of all those New Year's resloutions we all made to loose weight.  And the key to any successful diet is truly staying Calm and not giving in to all the stressors that make us go off our diet plans right!!

Barb Schram had so much fun with this set that she also has created two cards to share with us today as well.  For her first card she created a rich maroon, black and silver card with a more masculine feel by stamping and embossing the Shabby Music Background on black Cardstock with silver embossing powder,

 

For Barb's second card she created  a circle shaped card with a vintage feel and a spiritual sentiment.

Eva Dobilas has a fresh and fun take on the Keep Calm theme -- for her it's Drink Tea and Eat Cupcakes!!

Kazan Clark took a more tradiational approach to the original Keep Calm theme but with a JustRite twist --A gorgeous ornate frame with a Shabby Music Background!!

Introducing WIth Sympathy 6" x 8" large format Clear Stamps

Happy New Year Everyone!!!  2012 is going to be an awesome year!!!  For our CHA Release we have 21 new Cling and Clear Stamps sets and 2 new custom dies!!  We will be sharing with you the stamps sets from Release #1 this week on the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th and next week on the 9th, 10th and 11th !!  So get ready to be inspired!!!  Release #1 stamps are in stock and shipping. Custom dies are scheduled to arrive mid January - but they are available for pre-order on our website today!!

Throughout these releases we will also be sharing with you sneak peeks of new background stamps that are part of CHA Release #2 too!!
