Welcome to another JustRite Friday Challenge! This week we have a sketch for you to try -- just use it as a jumping off point with your JustRite stamps and over half the work is already done for you! You could even use it for a scrapbook page or perhaps even a 3D project (a photo frame comes to mind!):
Here’s my sample card I based the sketch on, created last year with our now retired 2-3/8" Kaleidoscope set (design details can be found here). You could easily substitute our new 3-1/4” Kaleidoscope Medallions, to achieve the same look:
And here’s my updated version today, using our 3-1/4” Grandma’s Doilies and 2” Old Friends sets just released last week:
I used a center from Grandma’s Doilies and stamped it with Memento Angel Pink ink onto the upper part of my kraft card base, to create a subtle pattern:
This pretty sentiment from Old Friends was stamped with Memento Rose Bud ink onto kraft cardstock and die cut with Spellbinders Classic Circle Nestabilities. It was backed with a pink Spellbinders Ironwork Motifs die cut (glittered), which is the perfect size for these 2-inch centers! Classic Scalloped Edgeabilities dies were used on the lower front edge of the card.
JustRite design team member Kathy Jones also has a gorgeous sample to share today. She used our new O Christmas Tree clear stamp set, backed with a beautiful Spellbinders die cut. Please visit Kathy’s blog to find out all the details of her card:
The grand prize for this challenge will be your choice of TWO JustRite Cling stamp sets and TWO Mini Binder Boxes:
THREE honorable mention winners will each receive one JustRite Cling stamp set and one Mini Binder Box!
CHALLENGE RULES:
You will need to use JustRite stamps on your project and upload it to an online blog, gallery or photo hosting website. You may make and enter as many different projects as you'd like for our challenges. You will then need to link to your project back here on our blog post, using the linking system on this challenge post. Please make certain your link is directly to your project, not just your general blog home page or overall photo gallery, so we can find it easily. (Links that are spam, commercial in content, or are not linked properly/directly to your project will be deleted). If you choose to upload your project to www.Splitcoaststampers.com OR our Flickr gallery, please use the weekly challenge code (example: JRC_060 <== that's an underscore between the letters and numbers) in the keyword section of the Splitcoast project upload page or the tag section of the Flickr gallery.
You will have until Wednesday, October 19 at 8:00 PM Central to make your project and enter a link to it below. Winners will be chosen and announced the next day (Thursday, October 20) here on the JustRite Inspiration Blog. By entering our challenges, you grant JustRite Stampers permission to use your artwork here on our blog as well as our company website gallery (with designer credit given and your blog post or gallery linked) or any possible advertising.
We can’t wait to see your sketch challenge cards!
