Since today marks the first day of Fall, we thought a Fall themed challenge might be in order! So think warm, rich colors for your Fall themed project -- which can be anything you choose: a card, scrapbook page, 3D/altered project or maybe even share a Fall recipe/card that utilizes your JustRite stamps! For purposes of this challenge, “Fall Festival” covers the general Fall season or any occasion/holiday within: Back-to-School, Fall sports or outings, Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc. If you don’t have any Fall themed stamps for this challenge, remember you can always use our Fonts to create anything you’d like!
The grand prize for this challenge will be THREE JustRite stamp sets of your choice!
THREE honorable mention winners will each receive ONE stamp set of their choice! (Click on any of the above icons, to see those categories in our webstore).
And those prize selections will certainly come in handy, because next week we will begin our October stamp set release blog hops! To give you a little sneak peek, I made my challenge sample with a gorgeous brand new JustRite Cling rubber stamp set that will be featured on Tuesday, September 27 -- Autumn Labels Twenty Two (which is already in stock and ready to ship!):
My Fall blessings card:
This gorgeous Autumn words label (which matches Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Two Nestabilities!) was so easy to color, by using my Copic Airbrush System and BG11, E31 and YR21 Sketch markers while the cardstock was still in the die. It is accented with chocolate pearls:
The top border for the card was created with a mixture of Spellbinders new Edgeabilities dies: Classic Postage, Classic Scalloped, and Classic Triple Scalloped and tied up with twine and a tiny maple leaf die cut from corrugated cardboard. The great sentiment (love this mixture of fonts!) was stamped with Rich Cocoa ink onto ivory cardstock and die cut with one of the banner dies from Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants dies.
CHALLENGE RULES:
You will need to use JustRite stamps on your project and upload it to an online blog, gallery or photo hosting website. You may make and enter as many different projects as you'd like for our challenges. You will then need to link to your project back here on our blog post, using the linking system on this challenge post. Please make certain your link is directly to your project, not just your general blog home page or overall photo gallery, so we can find it easily. (Links that are spam, commercial in content, or are not linked properly/directly to your project will be deleted). If you choose to upload your project to www.Splitcoaststampers.com OR our Flickr gallery, please use the weekly challenge code (example: JRC_059 <== that's an underscore between the letters and numbers) in the keyword section of the Splitcoast project upload page or the tag section of the Flickr gallery.
You will have until Wednesday, October 5 at 8:00 PM Central to make your project and enter a link to it below. Winners will be chosen and announced the next day (Thursday, October 6) here on the JustRite Inspiration Blog. By entering our challenges, you grant JustRite Stampers permission to use your artwork here on our blog as well as our company website gallery (with designer credit given and your blog post or gallery linked) or any possible advertising.
We can’t wait to see your Fall Festival projects!
