First up here on the JustRite Blog it is Day 3 with Eva Dobilas!! Thank you so much Eva for joining us this week and sharing your beautiful work!! Eva has a 5th JustRite card to share with you today on her blog - For the Love of Life during today's blog hop. She also shared another JustRite card not seen on the JustRite Blog on her blog on Monday you can see it by clicking here. Eva used Vintage Floral Labels to create this stunning card using Twinkling H2O's:
Here is Eva:
I created a 5.5” square card base out of Kraft cardstock. Cut a 5.25” square from the patterned paper and backed it up with black cardstock cut with pinking shears scissors and adhered that to card front. Cut a 3.25” square from the blue patterned paper and backed it up with black cardstock and adhered to my card front.
I stamped my frame image on cream color cardstock using black ink and cut it out using Spellbinders Labels Thirteen. I painted it with Olive Vine Twinkling H2O’s and backed it up with black cardstock. I stamped the Thank you sentiment using L’Amour Red ink on cream cardstock and cut it out with the Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Doily Accents and using pop dots adhered it to the frame label and adhered all that to the card front.
I cut out a border using Fleur de Lis Doily Accents using black cardstock and adhered the trim on top of it and adhered all that to my card front.
I cut out flowers from old music sheet paper and painted it with Twinkling H2O’s, crunched them up while they were still wet and once they dried distressed them with Ranger Vintage Photo ink and adhered them to each other to create the flowers and added pearls in the middle of them. Finally cut out leaves and added all my flowers to my card.
