Before we begin our Christmas Blog Hop Today, we wanted to debut our second set of JustRite Custom Dies - JB 08955 Nested Sentiment Dies -- Set of 10 dies that will give you endless design possibilites! (If you missed our first set of custom dies, please see the blog post below this one.)
Here is a card designed by Kellie Fortin using stamps from A Day in the Country cling, showing the tear drop corner element:
Sharon Harnist also used the tear drop single & corner elements to decorate a framed chipboard letter:
Kellie Fortin used the small double ended tear drop tag for her sentiment on this soft pastel Christmas Card Simple Blessings cling.
Sharon Harnist also used the small double-ended tear drop tag with our Simple Blessings church:
Sharon Harnist used the tear drop frame for the sentiment "sign" on top of her Sparky and Friends house:
We know you are going to love these new dies! Here's a view of both sets of dies that I've stored in a plastic CD case, so you can get a better perspective of all the dies:
Now on to our 9th week of Christmas Blog Hops! Every Wednesday up until Thanksgiving some of your favorite designers will be joining some of the JustRite design team for a series of Christmas blog hops, showcasing JustRite’s entire Christmas Collection of stamps! Don’t forget that JustRite has some Christmas stamps in their newly released CLING line of stamp sets, too -- you can find them HERE. This week, the designers joining the JustRite design team is the Just Us Girls (JUGS) challenge blog design team!
For the month of November, we thought we would switch gears a little and throw in some holiday gift ideas using JustRite stamps, so be watching for those, too, on November’s hops! And in celebration of JustRite’s 9th and 10th weeks of Christmas Blog Hops, we have a huge surprise for you -- take 25% off All JustRite Original Christmas Stamps now through November 15, with free shipping within the U.S. on orders over $50 -- Don't forget to tell Santa!!
My card for today's hop also uses JustRite's new Nested Sentiments Custom Die and measures 3" x 6":
I stamped a smallest Christmas Nested Frame in black, colored it with Copics and then die cut it with the tear drop frame Custom Die -- a perfect fit! Then I used the middle rectangle die from this set to die cut the sentiment and pop it up over the frame -- such a quick and easy beautiful look!
To enhance the tear drop element at the top of the frame, I used the solid tear drop die to die cut coordinating burgundy cardstock to place behind the die cut opening of the frame. Here's a photo that shows all of the elements die cut -- notice the signature Spellbinders embossed edges (click on photos for a larger view)!
And assembled:
