JustRite Friday Challenge 040: Colors of Fall, Sponsored by Flower Soft!

Fall is finally in the air here in the south where I'm located and we're just beginning to see the warm, rich colors of Fall emerge.  I hear color is at its peak on the upper Eastern seaboard, so today's JustRite Friday Challenge #040 is a more relaxed color challenge (no exact/specific colors) -- just the Colors of Fall! 

From deep burgundy, to warm gold and vivid orange, your challenge this week is to use those wonderful rich colors of Fall with your JustRite stamps.  Now if this, to you, means a black Halloween bat, cat or witch -- go for it ... Halloween is Fall holiday after all, right?!!

Jeanne Streiff used the apple basket image from our Autumn Blessings set and accented it with Autumn mix Flower Soft -- gorgeous!

 

Gini Cagle accented our Applique center with Autumn Flower Soft and the border with Ultra Fine Sage Flower Soft -- love all the wonderful texture!

 

Debbie Seyer used our 50-point Special Occasions and 25-point Times New Roman fonts to spell out her Fall greeting, framed with Baroque Nested Frames.  The leaves are accented with Ultra Fine Sage Flower Soft and the pumpkins with Ultra Fine Burnt Sienna and a brand new product for Flower Soft -- Diamond Range Gold!

 

Deb Felts also used the pumpkins from our Autumn Blessings set and accented it with Autumn Flower Soft, for this clean and elegant Fall card:

 

Dina Kowal used a border from our Backyard Birds set to make this fabulous Fall wreath, accented with several types of Flower Soft.  The sentiment is from our Christmas Nested Frames set -- very creative!

 

Linda Beeson gave the flowers from our Plant A Little Love set a Fall makeover by coloring them a pretty pumpkin color and accenting them with the new Ultra Fine Burnt Sienna Flower Soft!  Linda framed the flowers and added a thank you sentiment from our Baroque Nested Frames:

And I made a Fall bookmark using this beautiful Fall harvest bounty image from our new A Day in the Country cling set.  I added a bunch of Fall color to the bottom of the image using Autumn mix Flower Soft.  I adore this sentiment in this set!  You can find all the details on how I created my bookmark over at my blog, PaperFections.

Introducing Sparky the Snowman/Family Cling & 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop 6!

Welcome to Week 6 of the JustRite 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop!

 

Here on the JustRite Inspiration blog, we are in the midst of our New Cling Release --which just happens to have 3 New Christmas images - two of which we are debuting during this hop.  The first Cling Sets is Sparky the Snowman ...

Does anyone recoginze this Snowman's face?  You should --- Sparky first appeared in our Vintage Christmas Set- just his torso.  We couldn't resist developing him into a full image and giving him a name - Sparky the Snowman!   All of our Cling stamps come pre-cut on a storage panel with colored images of the set you are purchasing.  The artwork we are showing today on the blog is the actual storage panel for Sparky the Snowman.

 

4 storage panels fit comfortably in our mini storage binder box ( which is not up on our website yet but are in stock ready to ship please bear with us while we are loading our new products into the website).

Again this is another fun set and our mitten image was designed to coordinate with the new Spellbinders's Shapeabilities Nested Mitten Dies.   It was designed so that you can use die  #4 from the mitten set to mat our mitten image. I added a crocheted chain stitch  loop to the corner of my mitten tag.

 
For today's project, I decided to go with brights in contrast to the fall cards I created earlier this week.  I used the snowflake images from the Sparky the Snowman Set to create designer paper similar to the paper I designed on Monday.

 
 
I started with this piece of paper from the Botanical 12 x 12 paper pad by Martha Stewart. I used the grid lines to help with the placement of my images. After I stamped all the snowflakes I added green, red and blue rhinestones to the center of each snowflake for a little extra Holiday Cheer. 

 

For my mitten image I stamped the mitten in Memento Ivy Cottage and then added the verse  " I'm dreaming of a white Christmas" to the upper half of the mitten before I started coloring it with Copic Markers.

I added Pom Poms for snow balls and in the bottom Right hand corner I added a little Polar White Flower Soft to depict a mound of snow.  You will find my second card for this set on my personal blog during the hop today.

For our 2nd Christmas Set we decided that Sparky needed a few Friends --- so our next set is titled Sparky and Friends ...

Sharon Harnist made this sweet wooden birdhouse ornament, accented with Sparky and Friends!

 

Sharon colored the snow friends with Copic markers, cut them out and added them to the side of the wooden house she coverd with patterned papers.  Polar White Flower Soft was added for a real snow effect!

 

The sign on the roof was made with another of our custom dies we'll be introducing soon!  After die cutting the frame from woodgrain patterned paper and sanding the embossed edges, Sharon stamped the "Warm and Cozy" sentiment with black pigment die ink and then heat embossed it with black detail embossing powder.  The mitten was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink (omitting the inside sentiment) onto patterned paper, accented with Copic markers, and then die cut with Spellbinders Nested Mitten die -- love that it's so easy to die cut this stamp!  More Polar White Flower Soft adorns the rooftop.

 

On the front of the house, our crazy bird friend from Whimsical Christmas is skating by!  TIP:  Sharon used her R89 Copic marker to color/stain the edges and eaves of the wood birdhouse!

Introducing Cling Set - A Day in the Country

 

Welcome to Day Two of our Cling Release!! Today we are debuting A Day in the Country. 

This is the image of the storage panel that the stamps will come on.

  

The JustRite Mini Binder Box will hold 4 storage panels comfortably.

Here is a close up shot our our Deeply Etched Red Rubber - Made in the USA!! The cling stamps are all pre-cut!  No trimming required.

The Mini Binder Boxes are 9 ½” x 7 3/16” x 1 3/8”  and translucent .  The binder features a locking clip that keeps your stamps sets secure.  Each mini binder features a clear overlay with a JustRite insert that you can customize to identify which sets are in each binder.  This is the perfect storage solution for the JustRite Cling Stamps.  With this system you can easily transport your stamps to a class or crop in this secure mini binder. Our mini binder will accommodate storage panels up to 8 ½” x 5 ¾”.

 

For my first card from A Day in the Country - I chose to use a frame from the JustRite Original Interlocking Stamp Line called Give Thanks Nested Frames to frame my sentiment from this set.   
 

Did you notice how nicely die cut my Nested Frame is as well as my sentiment?  The large Nested Frame was cut using our the largest die from Our New JustRite Custom Die Line called Nested Frame Dies.   The small sentiment was cut using the largest die from our Nested Sentiment Dies.  Just another sneak peek of the new dies sets. 

To finish framing out my sentiment I stamped the leaf trio image and added it to the corners of my frame. 

 

For my second card - I colored the barn image from A Day in the County and die cut the image with the same die cut from our new JustRite Nested Frame Dies.  Are you wondering where I got the fun corner dies from? They are another design element from our JustRite Dies -Nested Sentiment Dies. 

 I am in love with this embossing frame from ProvoCraft Cricuit Heritage set. I decided to use it for the mat layer of my cardbecause the embossing reminds me of the designs on Cowboy boots.  Love how this card can be used for a masuline Birthday Card.

  

This coming Friday, our Challenge is being sponsored by Flower Soft and I could resist adding Flower Soft to my tree line.

 

Here in Maine Autumn is in full bloom and if you have the opportunity to take a drive to the country this weekend -- A Day in the Country really does soothe the Soul...  that quote in the set is from me.

When I first shared these images with the JustRite Design Team there was a lot of chatter in our designer forum about what color barns really were. Kathy, our Aussie designer had us rolling when she told us that she thought barns were only red in cartoons until she came to the U.S. for a visit and went to Iowa and saw her first RED BARN!!  She even got out of her car and took a picture of the RED BARN.  Living in Maine,  I never really thought about it.. not all our barns are red, but that ceratinly was the color I would have reached for to color the barn image. Needless to say for the past month I have been much more observant as I looked to see what color barns really were here in Maine.

So here is a typical Maine Barn for inspiration.  And we did determine that barns aren't red everywhere in the U.S.  Sharon will tell you they are not red in Texas.

JustRite Introduces a new line of Rubber Stamps - JustRite Cling

 

 

The JustRite Family is growing!!! We are broadening our stamp offering this year with a brand new line of JustRite Cling Stamps.  These stamps are Deeply Etched Red Rubber and are made in the USA!!  Each set of cling stamps comes mounted to it's own 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Storage panel that can be stored in our new Mini Binder Box. The image below shows the actual storage panel with beautifully colored images of our Cling Stamps.  This week we are launching 5 Cling Sets -they are all available for ordering now on the JustRite website and will begin shipping this Friday Oct 15th.

The New JustRite Cling Lineis designed with of course JustRite Versatility!! 

Autumn is my absolute favorite time of year.  I just love watching the leaves change colors. So I couldn't resist designing my own background paper with the leaves in this set. 

I started with a desiginer paper from DCWV The Rustic 12 x 12 stack.  The designer paper I picked already had a grid pattern that helped me space my leaves and gave my paper design more dimension than if I had just stamped the images on plain paper. I used Copic Colors -YR00, YR21,YR18, YR18, R24, G21 to color the leaves.  Next I designed a tag for my card using the Hi There image along with the acorn images.

 

When designing my card I couldn't resist giving you a little sneak peek at one of the new dies in our new JustRite Die Collection (a joint venture with our favorite die company Spellbinders). This die is from JB 08955 Nested Sentiment Dies. Our first sets of dies will begin shipping in November and over the next few weeks we will be showing you sneak peeks of these dies!! 

For my next card I used the pumpkin image from the Hangin' Around Set to create a second designer paper using the same designer paper for the Rustic Stack.

 
This would make fun designer paper for your fall scrapbook pages too.

 
Using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink I added pumpkins to the paper and colored them using the Orange Quad (YROO, YR12, YR16, YR18) - this is the perfect Copic Color combination for coloring pumpkins.

Here is a photo of the finished JustRite Pumpkin Designer Paper before I added my sentiment. I used G21 and G24 (Soft Green Quad) to color the leaves of the pumpkin.

You will have until next Thursday, October 14 at 9am Central to make your project and enter a link to it below.  Then the winners will be chosen and announced a little later that day here on the JustRite Inspiration Blog.  Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery of your prizes.  By entering our challenges, you grant JustRite Stampers permission to use your artwork here on our blog as well as our company website gallery (with designer credit given and your blog post or gallery linked) or any possible advertising.

JustRite Stampers 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop #5

Welcome to JustRite Stampers’ newest Wednesday feature, 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hops #5!   Every Wednesday up until Thanksgiving some of your favorite designers will be joining some of the JustRite design team for a series of Christmas blog hops, showcasing JustRite’s entire Christmas Collection of stamps!  This week, it’s the Stamp Simply design team!  So mark your calendars for Wednesdays at 9am Central for great Christmas gift, card & project ideas, starting at the JustRite Inspiration blog!

My project today uses the Santa from JustRite's 2" square From Our House set:

 

Santa was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto an Inchie Arts Inchie + white matboard square and colored with Copic markers & Spica glitter pens (colors listed below).  The 2" square border was stamped onto an Inchie Arts Twinchie Square (perfect fit!).  The two matboard pieces were stacked together and then layered onto red cardstock die cut with a Spellbinders Eyelet Squares die.

 

Santa tops a 2.50" wide notepad and he wants to know -- have you been Naughty or Nice?!!  I created the custom wording with JustRite's Myriad Pro 50-point Uppercase font.  I love how nicely this font spaces!  Used on a Clear Horizontal Stamper so you can see through the block, makes it easy to see exactly where you want to stamp!  Just a reminder that all of our newly configured font sets that include both uppercase and lowercase letters in one set are all currently on sale at 25% off!
