6. Tell us how long have you been blogging:  “I started my first scrapbooking blog in July 2006 but my current card making blog I started in February 2009.”

7. Tell us who is currently your favorite paper company:  “I have always been a die hard Basic Grey fan but it's very hard to stick to just the one paper company these days. I love Crate Paper, MME, Cosmo Cricket, Webster’s to name a few!”

8. Tell us what are you currently addicted to:  “Spellbinders, JustRite sentiment stamps, ribbons, flowers, bling and Bazzill -- not too surprising really!”

9. Tell us your favorite paper crafting season and why:  “Probably Winter, as it's so much easier to stay home, stay warm and get crafty.”

Please join us in welcoming guest designer, Liz Weber, to our blog this week!  Liz lives across the pond (I guess that depends on which side of the pond you live on!) in Australia.  Liz blogs over at I Love Creating Cards – how appropriate!  Liz also loves creating with JustRite stamps -- here’s a little more about her:

1. Tell us where you live:  “Brisbane, Queensland, Australia”

2. Tell us about your family:  “1 terrific husband, Jason and 2 gorgeous children, Zane (8 years old) and Sabrina (4 years old), 2 cats Kahlua (14 years old) and Slinky Malinki (5 years old) and 1 cockatiel Zeke (6 years old), LOL!”

3. Tell us how long you have been stamping:  “Only seriously for the last year but was introduced to JustRite Stamps early 2009.”

4. Tell us where you do your stamping:  “I have a fantastic scrap space corner set up  in our lounge room set up with a great desk/bookcase combo so I can "be" with the family no matter what we are all doing.”

5. Tell us what is your must have stamping tool:  “That's a hard one but I would have to say my stamp scrubber and cleaning spray, I hate dirty stamps and they clean up so easily with the stamp scrubber.”

"I am using this box to store a stash of pre-stamped sentiments in various shapes and sizes, ready to pop onto cards, gift tags, boxes, etc:

 

"The box template came from Splitcoaststampers, here:  Stationery Box.  I stamped the Christmas Nested Sentiments, Christmas Nested Frames and Christmas Ornaments in jewel-toned inks, then die cut them with various Spellbinders dies and layered the ornaments onto scalloped die cut burgundy cardstock:

JustRite 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop #3

Welcome to JustRite Stampers’ newest Wednesday feature, 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hops #3!   Every Wednesday up until Thanksgiving some of your favorite designers will be joining some of the JustRite design team for a series of Christmas blog hops, showcasing JustRite’s entire Christmas Collection of stamps!  So mark your calendars for Wednesdays at 9am Central for great Christmas gift, card & project ideas, starting right here at the JustRite Inspiration blog!

The card I have for you today uses a sentiment from JustRite's beautiful new Christmas Nested Frames set, stamped separately, without any frames:

 

The sentiment was stamped in Memento Summer Sky ink onto the cream card base.  The bottom edge of the card front was die cut and embossed with Spellbinders Snowflake Borderabilities die, the small snowflake die cuts taken out, then the rest of the lower card front sponged with Memento Desert Sand ink.  The original small cream snowflakes were taped back into place and then micro fine glitter sprinkled into the remaining holes between the snowflakes:

 

The large snowflake embellishment is from a garland I found last year at Hobby Lobby.  I cut one snowflake from the garland and glittered it with chunky glitter, then tied it to my card front with chocolate baker's twine.
