Mega March Blog Hop Day 1 - $600 worth of Blog Candy Giveaways

 

Welcome to Day One of our biggest blog hop ever!  You will be amazed when you see the list of talented designers joining our team for this fun-filled event.  We have the entire Copic Education Team, the entire Stampers Dream Team, the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Design Team and designers from Spellbinders, Caardvarks, 2 Sketches 4 You, CPS, plus a few of our JustRite invited friends.

25-30 designers, FIVE shopping sprees each day.  No one knows where the prizes will be!  Each day of the hop we will have five Mystery Blog Candy Prizes hidden along the hop with a total retail value of  $600.  We will select five mystery blogs each day of the hop and randomly allocate each of the shopping sprees.  For your chance to win, simply leave a little love (a comment) on each designer’s blog including here at the JustRite blog.  The more designers you leave comments with, the better your chances of winning.  Each day’s comments will remain open for three days.  A winner from each of the mystery blogs’ comments will be randomly chosen using Random.org.  Consult the listing of designers here at the JustRite blog each day (each day’s designers will be different) and start out on your way!  Beginning Friday, March 26, summaries of all the winners will be posted here on the JustRite blog.  Good luck to everyone and enjoy all the JustRite eye candy along the hop!

Today's gorgeous blog hop project is provided by JustRite design team member, Michele Kovack:

 

Michele used the delightful spring bouquet in a watering can image from Breath of Spring. and paper pieced the can.  Here are Michele's card instructions:

(Finished card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4): 
1. Layer designer papers on card front; machine stitch around perimeter of vintage paper.  Add pearls to the corners. 
2. Stamp image on cream card stock and color with Copic markers BG01, B00, V01, BV0000, Y02, Y00,YG03, YG11.  Cut image out and add Glossy Accents and Stickles. 
3. Stamp watering can on polka dot paper; cut it out and add shadows with Copic B00 marker. 
4. Stamp sentiment on a jewelry tag and ink edges; tie to handle of watering can. 
5. Use Spellbinders label die to cut music paper; ink edges. 
6. Use Spellbinder's oval die to die cut a negative space on scrap paper.  Place scrap paper over music paper.  Airbrush oval with Copic W0 marker; remove mask. 
7. Adhere image to Spellbinder's label die cut.  Tie ribbon around card vertically.  Attach image over ribbon with foam tape.

Are you ready for the Biggest JustRite Blog Hop ever with $1800 of prizes?

Did you know that this month we are celebrating our 2-year Anniversary with our first Blog Team Members?  Do you know who the first three JustRite Blog Team Members were?  Debbie Olson, Sharon Johnson & Kellie Fortin! 

We have quite the celebration planned  in honor of that Anniversary!  We have asked designers from all of our cross-marketing partners to join us in a huge event.  It is so big that it is a 3-day event with 86 designers joining us!  Now that is just the beginning of the celebration -- it wouldn't be a party without prizes!  And since it is our biggest hop ever, we are giving away shopping sprees which will total $1800!!

Our 3-day blog hop starts on Tuesday, March 23rd and you will not want to miss any of it.

The hop begins each day here at the JustRite blog at 9am EDT.  Each day we will hop between approximately 30 designers' blogs to see projects they have created using JustRite Stamps from our January & February release.  During each day's hop we will have FIVE mystery blog candy locations.  In one of those five locations, one lucky winner will win a $200.00 JustRite Shopping Spree:

 

In each of the remaining locations there will be a $100.00 Shopping Spree from JustRite or one of our Blog Hop Sponsors.  Each day we will have a prize package of $600 for a 3-day total of $1800 in giveaways.  Your chance to win is simple: just take a few seconds and leave a comment on each designer's blog.  The more designers you leave comments with, the better your chances of winning.  Each day's blog comments will remain open for three days (closing on the 3rd day at 6pm EST).  Beginning Friday, March 26, summaries of all the winners will be posted on the JustRite blog.

JustRite Friday Challenge 010: Mix & Match, Sponsored by Spellbinders!

This week's Friday Challenge #010 is to Mix & Match at least two different JustRite stamp sets in a non-traditional way or mix between the different shapes we offer! This week we would like to teach you how to think about your JustRite Stamps in a new and exciting way!  So think outside the box and get creative!!

 

Design team member Angela Barkhouse rocked this challenge by combining stamps from 3 different stamp sets in 3 different sizes!  How clever she was to combine 3 sizes of borders to create 3 layers for her 1 5/8" sentiment!  She used the border from My Garden (3 1/4"), the border from Preserves (2 3/8") and a border and center from Just A Note.

Another great example of mixing & matching sets is this sample from JustRite design team member, Becca Feeken:

 

Becca combined a round 1-5/8" sentiment center from our Romantic Sentiments set and an oval border from our large oval set, Breath of Spring!  You can find all the details of Becca's card over on this post at her blog.  Just because an image is round or oval does not mean you have to use it that way.

Another thing Becca does ever-so-well is mix and match her Spellbinders die cuts ... you'll want to be sure to read on below to find out about this week's prize sponsor!!

CHALLENGE  RULES:

JustRite Friday Challenge 009: Go Green Winners!

JustRite Friday Challenge 009: Go Green for St. Patty's Day!

That's right, we're going green for St. Patrick's Day next week, so for your Friday Challenge this week we'd like to see your green projects!  Not necessarily green in color, but green as in recycled!  So here's your chance to take that pretty gift box you saved from Christmas or Valentine's Day (come on, we all have them -- right?!!) and recover it or somehow remake it into something new and different. 

We want to see what you can do with your recycled 3D items - so get creative and show us something besides a card this week, that also showcases JustRite stamps!  Hint: I have some egg cartons waiting to be used but I just haven't found the time to use them this week, so design team member Angela Barkhouse has a sample to help spark your creativity:

 

Angela recycled an instant coffee tin, covered it in pretty papers & trim and made it into this Spring-time candy dish that could also be used as a gift container! 

 

She used our 1-5/8" Romantic Sentiments centers and borders to embellish the front (remember, all of our 1-5/8" products are on sale all this month!).  Click on over to Angela's blog for all the details on how she made this!
