For Day one of the hop on my personal blog, I used distressed inks to create my card in the more frequently used colors of distress inks. For all the details you can visit my post here.
For Day Two, here on the JustRite Blog I thought it would be fun to play with the Daisy image from the Beautiful Blossom Set . First I stamped my image in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored the daises like they were gerber daisies.
Can you tell I am anxiously awaiting Springs arrival? I was so excited to play with some of the new Spellbinders Dies just released at CHA winter. I just love how fresh the new oval shapes look when paired with our Oval Images. I diecut my image with the new Spellbinders Nestabilities Deckle Edge Classic Oval Large -Die 4 and distressed the edges with Antique Linen. By distressing the dry embossed edge of the deckled oval you can give extra depth to your card. For the next mat layer I used the new Big Scalloped Oval Nesties to diecut Dark Outdoor Olive cardstock and then distressed the edges with Peeled Paint.
The designer papers are from the My Mind's Eye Home 6x6 paper pad.

For Day Two we have 30 designers, FIVE more shopping sprees. No one knows where the prizes will be! Each day of the hop JustRite will have five Mystery Blog Candy Prizes hidden along the hop with a total retail value of $600. We will randomly select five mystery blogs each day of the hop and randomly allocate each of the shopping sprees. For your chance to win, simply leave a little love (a comment) on each designer’s blog including the JustRite blog. The more designers you leave comments with, the better your chances of winning. Each day’s comments will remain open for three days. A winner from each of the mystery blogs’ comments will be randomly chosen using Random.org. Consult the listing of designers here at the JustRite blog each day (each day’s designers will be different) and start out on your way!
