Did you see the CaardVarks Challenge this week?
The Details You are challenged to create your very best wedding card. The winning entry will be published in Scrapbook Trends CARDS Magazine's July 2010 issue. Please make sure your card is new and photographed well. If your card is chosen, you will be asked to remove it from your blog/gallery until 1 month after the July issue hits the stands. You may enter the challenge as many times as you like. To enter the challenge go to the Caardvarks Post and link your entry via Mr. Linky at the bottom of the post. This challenge will close on Monday, February 15th at Midnight, PST.
Of course when we read this challenge this morning - we knew we had to share all the details here---- because WINK WINK!!! we have some stamps just perfect for this challenge. Today's project by Sharon Harnist is a quick and easy birthday card. Sharon stamped just the center violets/forget-me-nots from our new Breath of Spring large oval set directly on her card front with Memento Rich Cocoa ink:
And then colored it with these Copic markers:
The birthday sentiment is from our Just A Note 1-5/8" round set and was also used without a border -- simply stamped, punched out, and tied to the left side of the card. Quick & easy!
