Hello Everyone - sorry for the delay in posting our Preview today. Can you say "Internet Issues"!!! You will notice in this release that we have focused on Ovals!!
At one time or another everyone needs to send a card to someone- to let them know that you are thinking of them, or perhaps to express your heartfelt sympathy as someone loses a loved one. Not a set that we concisely say we need to purchase but a set that we all need at one time or another. This set is sure to become your go to stamp set for just such occassions.
INTRODUCING JUSTRITE THINKING OF YOU!!
We stamped our image with Tsukeniko's Memento Black Ink on Neenah Solar Crest White paper and used Copic Markers to color the floral image. Next I die cut and embossed the image using Spellbinders Scalloped Oval Nestabilities. Then I chalked the area outside of the border with Pebbles Chalks which gives dimension to the stamped image. To highlight the centers of our flowers I added the smallest pearls for Kaiser Krafts. The petite star glitter paper is from My Mind's Eye - It's My Party Short Stack with Glitter- Paper Pad.
My second card to share with you is "May God's Grace Sustain You" the perfect sentiment when there are just no words to say. For this design I used the coordinating Spellbinder's Lattice Borderabilities .
The dies are sized for an A2 card, One die cut creates your entire border. Wahoo!! Which eliminates the need for multiply punches and lining up your punch perfectly!! This is a set of two Borderabilities die templates. One is a border that cuts one edge and embosses the other, and can be used to make continuous cuts and decorative edges. The second borderability die template has a continuous cut line perfect for making coordinating accent pieces. Approximate sizes:Border - 1 1/4" x 5.5"Accent - 1 3/8 x 5.5"
For the card base I used Blue Awnings 12 x 12 Paper pad from K& Company. I stamped the image with versamark watermark pad and gold embossed the image using Ranger detailed embossing powder. To create a faux mat layer I used a E09 Copic Marker to color in the rim around the verse then I diecut the image with Spellbinder's Oval Nestabilities and matted with a slightly large oval using Desert Dunes DoubleMa from WorldWin Papers. The tiny roses and petite petals are all from Prima Flowers fantasy Stix Collection- which I found at Michaels.
