Welcome to Day Two with Beate Johns. Today Beate has created a stunning card using Always & Forever Medallion Labels.
Here is Beate: I knew when I saw the gorgeous frames from the new set of Always and Forever set (CL-03535) that I needed to put them into the center of my card. I didn't want anything distracting from the frame. I started by embossing the bigger of the frames with white embossing powder on Kraft cardstock. Then I did cut it with JustRite's Nested Medallion Labels.
A small circle was cut and embossed with a Standard Circle Nestabilities die out of MME Lost & Found 2 Sunshine Patterned Paper . The edges were sanded and a sentiment stamped in its center with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. The circle was adhered in the center of the frame. Baby Bling Rhinestones were adhered to the frame and the frame was centered on a paper doily.
A 1 1/2" x 4 3/8" strip of Sunshine paper was adhered to a 4 3/8" square of the same paper pack. The papers were stitched to a 1/4" bigger piece of white cardstock. Kraft Seam Binding was tied above the paper strip. A small slit was cut in the paper doily and the image layers were adhered to the layers. Parts of a Finesse Rhinestone Swirl were adhered to the top left and bottom right of the card layers. The layers were adhered to the card base, a piece of Kraft cardstock, cut and embossed with a Grand Scallop Square Nestabilities die.
