Eva Dobilas - O Christmas Tree

 Today Eva has a gorgeous Christmas Card designed using O' Christmas Tree!!  

 

Instructions for creating my Christmas Card:

1. Using the largest die from the Spellbinders Curved Rectangles I cut my card base out of red cardstock. I cut one smaller size Curved Rectangle from the green patterned paper from Authentique Paper’s Wonder Christmas line.
2. Next I tied a gold wired ribbon bow and left a tail and adhered it to the card base as shown in the photo of my card. Using the second largest Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangles shape, I die cut kraft cardstock and dry painted the edges with white acrylic paint. 
3. Using red and cream music sheet paper die cut a second largest Spellbinders Labels Eighteen and using pop dots adhere to the kraft label and adhere all that again with pop dots to the card front.
4. Using O' Christmas Tree, stamp the Christmas tree, trunk and star images on white cardstock and paint it in with Luminarte Twinkling H2O’s.  Cut out the Christmas trees with Spellbinders Nested Pennants dies and also die cut the coordinating size Nested Lacey Pennants out of light blue cardstock and layered them together and using pop dots adhered them to the label piece.
5. Using Spellbinders Spiral Blossoms One cut out a flower from patterned paper and create a flower out of it and adhere it to the middle of the bow.  Add small flat pearls to the tree and star and finally add Viva Pearl pen pearls to the edge of the card.

Eva Dobilas - Hope Card

Today & Tomorrow, we are very excited to have Eva Dobilas as a guest blogger here on the JustRite Blog.  Eva is our newest design team member and she couldn't wait to get inky with images from our Be Strong Set.  Here's Eva ....

 

Instructions for creating my card:

1. Create a 5.5” square card base out of black cardstock. Cut a 5.25” square from the flower patterned paper from Glitz Beautiful Dreamer line.  
2. Cut the largest Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangles shape out of the blue with heart patterned paper and ink the edges and using pop dots adhere to card front. 
3. Cut a 5.25” x 1” panel from the pink hounds tooth patterned paper and add lace to the bottom of it and adhere it to card front, tie a crinkled ribbon around and add a Pink Paislee jeweled button in the middle of it.  Adhere all that to the card base.
4. Stamp the Be Strong ribbon with frame image to white cardstock using Palette black ink pad and paint it with Luminarte Twinkling H2O’s.  Stamp the ribbon separately to white cardstock with black ink again and paint it with pink Luminarte Twinkling H2O’s and using pop dots adhere to the ribbon frame. 
5. Layer that on top of Tattered Angels Butterfly frame.  Stamp the oval frame from Be Strong on white cardstock and stamp the Hope sentiment in the middle of it with Waterlily Green Palette ink and cut it out using the smallest Spellbinders Beaded Ovals die.  Finally stamp the tiny butterflies from the stamp set onto patterned paper, cut them out and adhere them to card front

Okay Ladies - since it officially Snowed at my house last night - yes I said "Snowed"! I think it is safe to say we all need to start making our Christmas Projects and cards.  So to get you in the spirit you are invited to join JustRite for a Christmas Linky Party on Wednesday November 2nd.

Introducing our newest design team member Eva Dobilas

Today we are very excited to welcome our newest JustRite Design Team Member - Eva Dobilas!! You can get daily inspiration from Eva by visiting her blog For the Love of Life.  Over the past two years Eva has been a JustRite Friday Challenge participant, frequent JustRite guest blogger and a huge JustRite Fan!!  Eva is currently working as a freelance papercrafting consumer educator in Southern California and is a current Splitcoast Stampers Dirty Dozen Design Team Member.

Since Eva loves to play along with the JustRite Friday Challenge, Eva is sharing a card she designed using the sketch from JustRite Friday Sketch Challenge #60 with images from JustRite's Cling Bon Voyage Set.  Eva used the following design elements from the Bon Voyage Set - the corner elements, the crown and the large Ornate Fleur de Lis element which is designed to coordinate with Spellbinders Labels Twenty.

 

Here is Eva:

 I cut a 4.25” x 12” piece of black cardstock, folded it in half and punched the edges with a scallop punch to create my border.  Cut a 4” x 5.25” piece of Creative Imaginations designer paper and backed it up with cream color cardstock.  Cut a 4” x 2.25” piece of another Creative Imaginations designer paper and adhered it to the bottom part of the panel.  From a flower patterned Creative Imaginations paper die cut a border using Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Accents border  and layer it under  4” x 1” panel cut from the black and cream Harlequin patterned paper.  Adhere that border to the bottom panel.  Tie a crinkled ribbon around the whole panel and adhere to the card base.

 

Stamp the image with Palette black ink to a white cardstock and die cut it with Spellbinders Labels Twenty.  Paint image in with Olive Vine and African Jade Luminarte Twinkling H2O’s, back up label with black cardstock and using pop dots, adhere to card front.  Stamp the crown image with Red Palette ink, cut it out and again using pop dots, adhere to middle of the fleur de lis image.  Cut out two butterflies from the patterned paper using the Spellbinders Butterflies Two, adhere them together in the middle and add a button in the middle.  I added some Ranger Rock Candy Distress Stickles on the butterflies for a little vintage glam.  Finally I die cut a patterned paper with the Spellbinders Foliage die cut and painted it with Olive Vine Luminarte Twinkling H2O and adhered it to my card
